Directions
The Atlantis Highway:
Exit M5 at j27 (signed Barnstaple). Follow A361 until roundabout before Barnstaple. Take A39 (signed
Bideford, Bude,) DO NOT leave A39 at Stratton for Bude, continue South for 3 miles, look for layby and sign
just past cross roads to Widemouth Bay. Pull into layby (entrance) on left.
The Shortest Route
Exit M5 at J31, A30 (signed Okehampton). Exit A30 at A386 (signed Bude). Turn left at roundabout for A3079
(signed Bude, Holsworthy). Avoid Holsworthy town by turning right on A3072 (signed Bude). Go accross mini
roundabout, turn right on A3072 (signed Bude). When meeting A39 at Stratton turn left, DO NOT follow sign to
Bude. Continue South for 3 miles, look for layby and sign just past cross roads to Widemouth Bay. Pull into
laybu on lefy (entrance is in layby).
Longer Route but Faster Roads
Exit M5 at J31, A30 (signed Okehampton). Exit the A30 (about 5 miles past Launceston exit ignoring all
earlier signs for Bude) on the A395 (signed North Cornwall). Turn right at first roundabout, cross flyover,
turn left at second roundabout and follow North Cornwall sign. At Hallworthy take second turn on right
(signed Bude). At giveway sign turn right onto A39. Continue on A39 (going North) for 12 miles. Watch for
Widemouth Fields sign on mainroad, pull into layby (entrance) on right.
